Professional Summary

Research scientist and software engineer with 15 years experience finding solutions for ill-posed problems, designing computationally efficient numerical algorithms and building software for HPC systems.

Currently I'm a postdoctoral researcher at Freie Universität Berlin, Institute of Geological Sciences, Department of Earth Sciences. My current topics are microseismicity location and microseismic reflection imaging and imaging of the hydraulic fracturing. Before I studied physics and computer sciences at the Department of Computational Physics, Faculty of Physics, Saint Petersburg State University, Russia and received my MSc diploma in 2006. From 2001 to 2007 I worked for GEOVERS ltd., Moscow, Russia as a software engineer, senior geophysicist and project manager, where I obtained the experience of software designing and developing for seismic data processing, solutions of forward and inverse problems of geophysics, large scale computations.
