Professional Summary
Currently I'm finishing my PhD at Freie Universität Berlin, Institute of Geological Sciences, Department of Earth Sciences. My current topics are microseismicity location and microseismic reflection imaging and imaging of the hydraulic fracturing. Before I studied physics and computer sciences at the Department of Computational Physics, Faculty of Physics, Saint Petersburg State University, Russia and received my MSc diploma in 2006. From 2001 to 2007 I worked for GEOVERS ltd., Moscow, Russia as a software engineer, senior geophysicist and project manager, where I obtained the experience of software designing and developing for seismic data processing, solutions of forward and inverse problems of geophysics, large scale computations.
View my ResumeCurrent research interests
My research interests include seismic data processing, numerical methods in imaging and modelling of seismic wave propagation for heterogeneous media, developing approaches to use a micro-seismic data to characterise a reservoir.
Besides Geophysics
Besides geophysics, I also do web development. I am interested in developing a Web product from the stage of conception to launch. Since 2005, I partly owned the web design studio, but now only work on personal projects (including this site).
